Welcome to Germany!

DAY ONE

Welcome! Those were the first words we heard when we came to Germany. First, the Serbs and Montenegrians came together to the Frankfurt airport, and waited for the Poles there. Bosnians and Croatians came to the Munich airport. The Germans were already waiting for us at our new home - Malteserhof. Our first impressions were something about the place looking like an orange - red castle. You could see how the place glows, so it was obvious why they chose it to hold the Summer Camp here. It is built in a way that the energy can go through it freely (except in the rooms - they are too messy).
Everyone was so excited and you could see how lucky they felt to be there. It is a changing, one in a life time experience. You will never find a place like this.

After we all got there, we finally heard the words we were waiting for "We can now go to the dinning room. It is time for dinner!" I think we all felt a little bit happier in that moment, but it still felt weird sitting in a room full of people who have the same or similar ideas as you. Also, those are the ones that you first saw 20 minutes ago, and now, you are expected to live with them for 19 days! When we finished the well deserved dinner, we went into a room, that we later learned that it is the plenary room - the room we would be spending most of our time. When we got there, we saw a huge map hanging on the wall. Most of us thought that we were gonna say which country is placed where, but we actually had to place our pictures to the places where we live.
There were a lot of cities, towns and villages we never heard of. So, I guess it was nice knowing that you are not the only one from the middle of nowhere.
So, after all the bus, car, and plane rides, we finally got here. Let the adventures begin!
